QS is 54.000 acres of open grasslands, grazing cattle, located 60 kms south of Nelia which in on the Flinders Hwy and 90 kms from Julia Creek, We breed Brahman cattle for beef production. Mustering of cattle is done with motor bikes and occasional use of horses. Wwoofers are involved in all day-to-day cattle station activities, incl fencing, cattle work, road grading, cleaning up etc. Pick up points are from Julia Creek, Nelia or Kynuna which are serviced by rail or bus. Accom for 1-4 people in our homestead with our family or in quarters if requested. No Children. Meat-style meals. NSI. We aim to provide a new experience for our guest. Come and visit us. The work is mostly focused around nurturing the fruit trees with some cattle handling & general farm task. Accom for 2 people in our home or BYO. Meals varied. Jobs could be feeding animals, fencing, gardening, cooking, painting, building, cleaning, helping on camps. Helaas konden we wegens communicatiestoornis maar 1 dag blijven. Was leuk opgezet en hebben in de peace yurt boven op de berg geslapen. Prachtig uitzicht.
